Licensed Family Child Care Annual Health and Safety Professional Development Audit
Beginning April 2023, the Office of Early Childhood will begin an Annual Health and Safety Professional Development Audit. The audit will monitor all family child care providers on an annual basis to ensure all health and safety training requirements have been met. The audit will be completed by Office of Early Childhood monitoring staff. Important Updates to Care 4 Kids Eligibility
Enrollment Management Waitlist: Effective March 1, 2023, as part of program enrollment management, Care 4 Kids will begin placing new applicants who are working, attending higher education or participating in Workforce Development on an enrollment management waitlist. Applications for families who are TFA recipients AND working or participating in a JFES activity, former TFA recipients within the past 5 years and teen parents ages 18 and 19 who attend high school or equivalent will be processed and eligibility determined at the time of application.
