Important Updates to Care 4 Kids Eligibility
Enrollment Management Waitlist:
Effective March 1, 2023, as part of program enrollment management, Care 4 Kids will begin placing new applicants who are working, attending higher education or participating in Workforce Development on an enrollment management waitlist. Applications for families who are TFA recipients AND working or participating in a JFES activity, former TFA recipients within the past 5 years and teen parents ages 18 and 19 who attend high school or equivalent will be processed and eligibility determined at the time of application. This is for new applications only, there will be no change to families currently enrolled or at redetermination.
Those families placed on the enrollment management waitlist will be invited off as soon as spaces become available.
