- Applications – Processing applications that have been invited off of the waitlist as a priority over newly received applications. We are working on:
- Waitlist invited applications received 07/22/2026
- New applications, not yet processed, received 07/06/2026 – 07/10/2026
- Applications invited from the Waitlist – Processing applications received through 09/08/2025 for families who are working and have been invited from the waitlist.
- Redeterminations – Working on redeterminations with a renewal expiration date of 07/31/2026
- Supporting Documents – We are working on:
- Waitlist invited supporting documents received 07/22/2026
- New supporting documents, not yet processed, received 07/10/2026 – 07/15/2026
Invoice Processing Status
- July invoices will be available on 08/01/2026
- Invoices received on 07/21/2026 are currently being processed.
- Invoices received on or before 07/20/2026 have been processed and will be paid on 07/22/2026
Care 4 Kids Enrollment List
- Family applies online.
- A complete application includes all required documents to be uploaded, except for a Parent Provider Agreement form.
- A Parent Provider Agreement form is not needed until a family is invited from the C4K Enrollment List.
- Families not in a high priority group are placed on the C4K Enrollment List.
- High need priority groups include families on TANF currently or within the last five years, foster families with CT DCF, families who have adopted through CT DCF within the past year, subsidized guardians, and families who are experiencing homelessness.
- C4K selects families from the C4K Enrollment List by activity and in order of the date applications were received.
- Families who are working will be selected from the C4K Enrollment List first.
- Note: Families only participating in adult education, workforce development or higher education (up to a bachelor’s degree) will experience longer wait times. C4K continuously invites families from the C4K Enrollment List.

Provider Orientation and CDA Stipend Payment Status
- Stipend Payments will be processed on 07/17/2026 for all active Care 4 Kids providers who attended the Provider Orientation in June. Payments will be in the amount of $75.
