School Age Care During COVID-19

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, school age children will be eligible for care during school hours if they are distance learning or hybrid learning while in care. School age children will not be eligible for care during hours they are homeschooled.

Eligibile Learning Models:

• Distance Learning: Child is enrolled in a public or private school, and the student and instructor are in different locations during instruction. The child does not physically attend school.
• Hybrid Learning: Child is enrolled in a public or private school and the curriculum and instruction are provided by using a combination of in-person instruction and distance learning.

Not Eligible:

• Homeschool: Parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for the education of the child and the child is not enrolled in a public or private school. This is not considered distance learning.
